WALT persuade others
Watch the Kid President Video below "Kid President has a Dream".
In your WRITING BOOK, answer the following questions: Do not write the question out ~ answer in full sentence.
- Draw a dream bubble in your WRITING BOOK on ONE full page. Write as many BIG dreams that you have - things that are important to you, things you want to change, perhaps a job or career, interests/hobbies/achievements etc.
- Choose one of those dreams and write why it is important to you?
- Why do you think it is important/not important to have dreams?
- If you had to persuade someone else to have the same dream as you/think the same way, what do you think you might say to them ~ you have ONE page to do this.
- You need THREE good reasons to try and convince them why. Each of your reasons then need THREE examples/details/explanations to support them. Here is an example that you might like to use:
- Do you know anyone famous who "Had a Dream.....?"
